Ease the burden on others of decision-making on your behalf
Learn more about how Montane Health Directive allows you to guide your family and friends about your end of life treatment wishes.
If you don’t have a Montane Health Directive, someone must make treatment decisions on your behalf. This burden will fall to a legally appointed representative or a person responsible for you (such as your spouse, parent, child, sibling or unpaid carer). The problem is, even when the person responsible is able to make decision that align with your values, by leaving it to someone else, you confer a significant burden. In some instances, it is the burden of deciding whether you should live or die. Montane Health Directive reduces that burden by providing the people who care about you with a map for making decisions on your behalf.
